Aria Ashrafzadeh

Aria Ashrafzadeh is a first year associate at McKinsey and Company and a proud Stern 2019 graduate. Prior to business school she worked in international development, primarily focusing on trauma communities in Iran, Nepal, and Afghanistan. She then took a logical pivot into food and bev, managing a number of chef-driven restaurants in Los Angeles (and is always happy to give LA restaurant recs!). At McKinsey, she focuses on TMT and the social sector, most recently working on affordability in higher education. She’s passionate about leveraging the power of tech and business to promote social justice, particularly in the food and education spaces.
