Women’s Month 2020 will be filled with inspiring workshops and panels to build the strength, resilience, and tenacity women need in their dynamic career journeys ahead.
Thursday March 05:
Real Meal: Uncovering Allyship | 12:00 pm - 1:20 pm @ KMC 1-100
As part of Solidarity Week, SWIB Male Allies welcomes all members of the community to participate in our Real Meal. In this session we will shine a light on important topics, such as the challenges women face in their personal and professional lives. The Real Meal is meant to raise awareness of these experiences through personal stories and honest discussion. We also seek to provide tools to be supportive Allies at school, in business and at home. This Real Meal will be moderated by Professor Pettit and hosted in partnership with SGOV Diversity Committee. Lunch will be provided.
Tuesday March 10:
Cocktails & Conversations with Professor Dolly Chugh | 6:30 PM - 8:30 pm @ KMC 1-100
SWIB is excited to host Cocktails and Conversation with Associate Professor Dolly Chugh. The event will be split into two parts, with the first hour focused on Dolly's research as a social scientist "who studies the psychology of good people," where she will share tools to confront difficult issues (e.g., sexism, inequality, injustice) so that we can make ourselves and the world better.
The second hour will be devoted towards networking over hors d'oeuvres and beverages.

Life after your "first" MBA job | 12:00 pm - 1:20 pm @ KMC 5-50
Current MBA students spend much of their time stressing to secure their first "perfect" job - but what about after? This career panel will feature 4 Stern alumna who have made a career pivot after their first post-MBA job. Students will gain insight into how to make the most of their first job and look ahead to their long-term career goals.
Lunch will be provided and Male Allies are encouraged to attend!

Workout with SWIB | 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm @ Tone House
Join SWIB in unleashing your inner athlete at Tone House. Sessions are team-oriented, competitive, fun, and supportive, guaranteeing optimal fitness results. This is a private class at a reduced price. Male Allies are encouraged to attend!

Tanya Zuckerbrot, MS, RD, NYU alumna and CEO and founder of F-Factor is a global leader in the health and wellness space. Tanya is the author of two bestselling weight loss books: The F-Factor Diet and The Miracle Carb Diet, is the official dietitian to The Miss Universe Organization, and a lecturer, consultant, spokesperson and international media personality.
Join SWIB to hear Tanya's entrepreneurial journey; her brand has evolved from a Manhattan private practice to a CPG brand that has captured the hearts and mouths of women and men across the US. Light Snacks will be provided. Male Allies and plus ones are welcome!
